Hello and welcome to the website!

Well, the deed is very nearly done, and the book is now in the final stages of production. It’s been a long journey for both of us, the planning for it commencing a couple of years back now, and the actual writing taking both of us over a year each to complete. With neither of us exactly qualifying as prolific wordsmiths, it has at times been something of a hard slog, whilst at others, the words have flowed easily. However, with virtually all the hard work behind us now, we are both extremely proud with how the finished product has turned out.

As you will see from the chapter titles, this book contains a collection of stories or accounts, call them what you will, that describe the way in which we fish for pike, and just as importantly, the fun we manage to have whilst doing so. Each chapter tells a different story, and by choosing the stories that we have told carefully, it is our hope that this book will provide you the reader, with an insight into how we operate, and what we have managed to achieve in the sport from a wide variety of different water types. By reading between the lines, it contains a wealth of good advice for any pike angler wishing to look for it, and hopefully, if we have done our job well, plenty in the way of inspiration to encourage others to go out and emulate both our successes, and failures!

Every effort over many months of preparation has gone into ensuring that the book has been produced to the highest possible standards. From the sensational and original painting by the highly talented Chris Turnbull on the front cover, through to amusing cartoons and caricatures of ourselves and our companions in ‘moments of weakness’, no effort has been spared.

Commissioning the services of the renowned Stephen Harper for the production and design work, and ensuring that only the highest quality materials and production techniques have been used throughout, have all combined in our attempts to ensure we provide you, our readers, with a book that you will chose to re-visit again and again.

The book itself will be launched at the PAC conference at Stoneleigh on 22nd September 2007, followed by a presentation by Jason about a catch of big pike that most pike anglers of any experience would consider impossible to comprehend,  That same catch is described in exclusive detail in the final chapter of this book, and if nothing else, it should provide all of us, if ever it were needed, with the inspiration to keep on looking and to never give up trying.  Despite some people thinking they might know it all when it comes to big pike, this book provides clear evidence that they don't!

Over the next few weeks, more details of this exciting new publication will be added to this site including details of how you can go about purchasing a copy, and the first couple of exclusive reviews from two highly respected other pike anglers. Although the books will not be distributed until the 22nd September, orders will start being taken as of 1st August for those wishing to reserve themselves a copy.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this site, and we hope you found the information interesting.
